    Join us for three special classes where we will continue to celebrate the Centennial of our Sanctuary, and learn more about its history. 
  • June 14 | June 28 – August 30
    Dr. Jeff Leonard will lead his series “Ten Kings of Israel: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly of Israel’s Monarchy.”

Children:
Childcare will be available for infants through rising 6th graders on the ground floor.


Service Opportunities

  • Help Community Ministries stock our food pantry to share with our friends and neighbors this summer. Deliver food and hygiene Items to the Ground Floor or shop from our Amazon Wish List to have them delivered.

  • Use your time and gifts to serve as a tutor during the Summer Learning Program, which runs Monday through Thursday, June 15 through July 16. No teaching experience needed!

  • Donate healthy snacks for our Summer Learning Program students. Shop our Amazon wish list to purchase items and have them delivered to the Farm.

  • Pick up a backpack after worship (starting Sunday, May 31, to fill and return by July 7). This supports IPC Youth’s partnership with Leaders of Tomorrow Youth Group in Camden, AL.

  • Volunteer with Society of St. Andrew with the Society of St. Andrew (SoSA) Alabama Gleaning Network from 11:45 am to 1 pm on Saturdays. Volunteers will help collect donated produce from market vendors that is then donated to a local feeding agencies.

  • Help us transport #5 Plastics to Community on the Rise. If you or someone you know has a truck or large SUV, we could use your help!

On Sunday, June 21, IPC recognizes Presbyterian Ministries United Appeal (PMUA). Contributions to PMUA provide funding for Kirkwood by the River’s Life Care Fund, the Living River's Scholarship Fund, and the IPC Social Services Fund. Help shine the light of Christ and give to aid not one—but THREE organizations as they live out their ministry to support those in need. On that Sunday, ushers will collect donations during this regular offering. Please designate “PMUA GIFT” on your check. You can start giving today online or by texting PMUA to (205) 927-3100 and following the step-by-step instructions.

Summer 2026
IPC Day School

APPLE Day Camp is for children ages six months through five years, including those who have completed a 5-year-old Kindergarten program. Online registration for Summer 2026 opens March 9 for current Day School families and church members, March 11 for newly enrolled Day School families, and March 16 for the public.

IPC will be closed on Friday, July 3 in observance of the holiday. We will follow the Holiday worship schedule on Sunday, July 5 with worship at 10 am in the Sanctuary (No Sunday School or Table Worship).
