Congregational Events

  • Order by noon on Tuesdays and pick up on Wednesdays in the Great Hall between 5:30 - 6:30 pm. Place your order and enjoy cooking by Kim in IPC's Kitchen. Options include dinner (children's dinner will not be offered during April & May) and family casseroles. Check out the many Wednesday night ministries around the church and find the group that best fits you!

  • Nominate IPC members to serve as Elders and Deacons in the classes of 2026, trustees to serve on the IPC Foundation, two congregants to serve as members at large on the Representative Nominating Committee, and the vice president of the congregation (who will become president in 2025). The deadline to nominate is June 1.

  • IPC's newest addition is expected to be completed early this summer. The expansion includes 256 additional niches with 192 double and 64 single niches. You may purchase a niche for yourself or a loved one.

  • Tuesday, May 30 from 11:30 - 1 pm
    Bricktops - 2800 Highway 280
    Join the Lunch Bunch crew for a great meal and fellowship at Bricktops on Highway 280. We will meet at the restaurant at 11:30. This is a self-pay event but please register below so we will have an accurate headcount. Hope you will join us!

  • EVENT POSTPONED: A new date for the Summer Splash will be announced soon. The CFAF & Parenting Sub Committees invite you to the Children's Fresh Air Farm. Gather for an evening of swimming, fellowship, dinner, and fun for the whole family! We will enjoy pool fun, a bouncy house & slide, hamburger or hot dog dinner, and the Kona Ice truck.

Volunteer Opportunities

  • A family-friendly opportunity at Pepper Place Farmers' Market to help reduce food waste while providing for our neighbors in need.

  • Join IPC and Presbytery members on Saturday, June 24, for a day of fellowship, learning, serving, and worship with the United Presbyterians of Wilcox County. Participants must be at least 18 years old.

  • Volunteers are needed Monday-Thursday from 8:45-11:55 am. Please sign up for the dates that you are available.

  • Provide and serve dinner for the women and children staying at First Light each night the week of June 18-24. Great activity for a family or group!

  • Help us to continue refilling our Blessing Boxes and Weekend Buddy Bags. Donations can be dropped off or sent via a delivery service Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm to IPC Community Ministries' entrance on 31st Street South, up from the covered walkway. You can sign up to bring items or consider making a monetary gift to assist IPC Food Ministiries.

  • Volunteer tutors are needed mornings and afternoons this spring for Stair, LIFT Off, and i3 Academy.

  • Volunteers are needed to deliver Meals on Wheels in the Kingston neighborhood, where a significant part of IPC's local community outreach is focused. Interested volunteers should sign up directly with Meals on Wheels.
