IPC Day School

Special Events & Enrichment Programs

  • We engage with the world around us by inviting community artists and first responders into the classroom to share their creative talents and valuable safety information. In years' past, these have included visits from police and firefighters, clay artists, live music performers, and puppeteers.

Before and After School Enrichment Programs

We have several outside enrichment programs children can participate in before and after school for a small fee. Enrichment Programs do not meet when school is not in session.

  • Before School Enrichment Programs: 8 - 9 am
  • After School Enrichment Programs: 1 - 2 pm

Registration forms with fees are due before the 1st class of each program. No refunds will be given after the first week of classes. Separate checks must be made payable to these programs.

  • School Days | 8 - 9 am and 1 - 2 pm

Play Pals is offered as a before and/or after-school enrichment opportunity for all children each school day. Play Pals is led by Day School Teacher Chrystal Kracke, and children will experience free play in a fun environment. Students can enroll for the entire session or may attend on a “drop-in” basis. Please notify the Day School office if your child will be dropping in after school, so they will know for carpool.

  • Mondays | 1 - 2 pm

Little Artists is offered on Mondays as After School Enrichment with Day School Teacher Barbara Day for 3’s, 4’s, and 5’s. The Curriculum is designed to encourage creativity and expand on drawing and painting techniques appropriate for young children. We will read favorite books and create art of our favorite characters or scenery. The children will learn to use a variety of mediums- such as oil pastels, watercolor, and textures. This class is for any child who desires to learn and explore.

  • Tuesday or Friday | 1 - 2 pm

Aces and Birdies is offered as an after-school enrichment opportunity for children enrolled in Three-Year-Olds, Four-Year-Olds, and Five-Year-Olds. "Teaching Kids lifelong Sports" in this program children will spend 30 minutes learning tennis skills and 30 minutes learning golf. We believe these two lifelong sports will stick with your children forever. All equipment is provided and age-appropriate.

  • Wednesdays | 1 - 2 pm

Soccer Shots is offered as an after-school enrichment opportunity for children enrolled in Three-Year-Olds, Four-Year-Olds, and Five-Year-Olds. It is led by Jason Kendall, John Stagni, and Jacob Chambliss who believe that athletic involvement encourages self-discipline, social interaction, and better fitness habits. They also find great importance in providing positive role models and character development for children. Having played or been involved with sports since a young age, they found the Soccer Shots Organization to be a great way to get children involved with a sport that they not only love but believe to be the best sport for fitness development for our youth.

  • Thursdays | 1-2 pm

We are excited to offer a new after-school enrichment opportunity this fall for our 4s and Top Dogs. Join Miss Beth this Fall in Step, Skip & Leap, a preschool music enrichment class. We will meet in the fall to explore the many ways God loves the world. "God Loves the World" based on John 3:16, invites children to explore how God expresses love to us and how we should respond. God's love embraces all people in all places, and we find fulfillment in loving all that God loves. Fun songs and activities from around the world bring creativity to your child's time with us each week.
