Back to School Food Needs

IPC's food pantry

As the school year begins, so does our Weekend Buddy Bag program! Our program serves 160 students at Hayes K-8 School two times a month. The Buddy Bags are filled with easy, filling, and yummy food that food-insecure students can eat over the weekends. We are delivering for the first time this school year on Friday, August 18 at 1:30 pm. If you are interested in delivering, contact Evelyn Puckett.

Back in May, we had 12 volunteers from Arlington Family Offices purchase supplies and pack over 600 Weekend Buddy Bags! WOW! Thank you, Arlington Family Offices for this tremendous gift. We are grateful to use these gifts we have been given to impact the lives of students at Hayes K-8 School.

Our Blessing Box needs for this week include:

Food

Hygiene (best deals on hygiene products are usually at Dollar Tree)

You can buy anytime from our Amazon Wishlist.

IPC's Blessing Boxes

You can bring needed items for our Blessing Boxes by the church (Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm to IPC Community Ministries' entrance on 31st Street South), have them shipped through Amazon, or give monetary donations

We and our neighbors are grateful for your support of this vital ministry.
